Synagogues

The current project "Synagogues in Hesse" intends to gather information including images of over 400 synagogues that mostly no longer exist. This has been done in other German states as well, usually in printed form. Here the collection has been integrated into the online internet site LAGIS, just as the cemetery collection. Articles about 300 synagogues are available via LAGIS.
